After months and months of research on solar systems and solar contractors we finally decided to go ahead with our project with a company by the name of Herc du Soleil.

I liked the fact that not only was the pricing the best of those that quoted but the real sales feature was the owner of the business was not only the sales force but he was going to lead the crew that was doing the installation. I have learned from past experience with many contractors that what the sales team tells you is going to happen - rarely does!

This was not the case - a job done within the timeframe promised and on a budget. A true rarity in the construction business these days! We have had concerns with the system due to power outages etc over the years, Gopal was very quick to respond and was able to fix any difficulties we had remotely. All the info given regarding payback has surpassed expectations. We are on budget to have the system paid for within a 7 yr period. This will beat the info that was given.

It was a pleasure to deal with a company with no hassle BS - on time, on budget, good follow up service and delivered to expectations. A consumer could not ask for more.

We contacted Herc du Soleil and they came out quickly to give us a quote, a plan of the possible layout for our panels and the potential money that we could earn. They were always happy to answer any questions and provided a level of customer service beyond my expectations.

Herc du Soleil handled the entire process from obtaining the contract and permits to installation and activation in a fast and friendly manner and within a few weeks we were generating power and earning money from our newest (and most reliable) tenant. Gopal and his crew did a great job. I am so pleased with the instal I do not hesitate in recommending him. I had one panel giving issues months later and Gopal came by twice to make it work. Gopal knows his business, which is important as most have no idea how to compare panels, optimizers, and inverters. You need someone who has years of experience with the different available products, and knows how to instal them properly and service them later. Issues like animals, water/roof leakage, direction and angles of panels, permits, permissions, are all important points that not everyone understands. He will give you references to talk to - all 5 endorsed him before I gave him the go. Don't hesitate if you want to use a good company and good man and save on electric bills.

Update June 2018-I was so happy I added 10 more panels! Again fast work and pleased with results.

The entire process from application to install to start up was handled smoothly and professionally. Everything was explained to us clearly and went according to plan. We were kept apprised of progress through the various levels of Red Tape and always felt entirely comfortable with how things were proceeding. We chose Herc du Soleil to install our 8kw solar panel system in October of 2011, and have been absolutely thrilled with our decision! The installation of the system, and Gopal's thorough follow up and maintenance have been, of course, perfect. But where Herc du Soleil truly shines is through their value added service. Gopal and his team walked us through every step of the application process, eliminating any mistakes, hold-ups or second guessing - what could have been a bureaucratic nightmare of forms, signatures, deadlines and approvals was made straightforward and seamless by Gopal's knowledge and professionalism. Not only did he ensure that we were navigating the process correctly, but when necessary, he was able to make recommendations and refer us to the specific banking and other professionals we needed. Since having our system installed, I have encountered other individuals who have taken advantage of the MicroFit program as well. Some of the obstacles that they struggled with as they tried to navigate the application process on their own would likely have been too much for us - I just don't know that we would have bothered to fight our way through the bureaucracy!
